A Fanclub for Pretty Boy

I oversaw copy and strategy on the launch of Netflix’s hilarious Australian adventure, Back to the Outback. Within the 360º campaign, I scripted created several audio-first pieces to highlight the new film recorded by actor Tim Minchin, including a fan hotline for his celebrity koala character that featured this meditation script (which we then turned into its own video).

When users called in, they were prompted to select from a variety of activities including taking the Pretty Boy Fan Club oath, getting beauty tips from Pretty Boy, participating in a Pretty Boy guided meditation, and more! We saw a spike in calls to the hotline when our skywriting activation hit the clear blue skies over LA with the message: “I’M HOT UR NOT CALL A KOALA 520-2 PRETTY.”
